| Campbell pools will be working on converting hard-copy guides into information available for users on our website. We currently have posted some opening instructions and will be adding more as the season goes on. |
| Aboveground Pool Opening Instructions | | | - If pool is not covered with a winter cover skip to step (4). If pool is covered with a winter cover, pump the water off the cover with a submersible pump.
- One person on each side of the pool pulls on the cover to remove it while making sure no debris found on the cover falls back into the pool.
- Rinse cover and store in safe place.
- Re-install all hoses between the circulation equipment (connections to filter, pump, skimmer, nature 2, chlorinator, salt system, light or return).
- Re-install plug at the bottom of the filter as well as the sight glass and pressure gauge on filter head.
- Re-install eye ball in return or light.
- Re-install deck ladder or drop-in steps
- Drop basket back in the skimmer.
- Fill pool to the desired level (slightly higher then half way in skimmer mouth recommended).
- Put filter position on whirlpool or filter.
- If pool is dirty, vaccum on waste or drain (not on filter). *do not put automatic cleaner (E.g. Manta) in pool for your spring clean-up.
- After pool is clean bring water sample to Campbell Pools to complete your water analysis.
