Step 1 - Ideas and Inspiration |
Step 2 - Learning about the process |
Step 3 - Getting a quote and figuring out the details |
Gather up some ideas and put together a wish list. If you are thinking of creating a backyard swimming pool oasis you probably already have some ideas... even really vague ones... of what you'd like. Start putting them together. Whether they are digital pictures you grab online or paper clipping.
Spend some time hunting down ideas online, in landscape design magazines or even going over to a friends to snap a few pictures of what you like there. Time spent here will make communicating with your pool builder or designer so much easier. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so lets write a book. Don't be afraid to gather up a bunch of pictures that show what you like or are curious about. Showing us a picture and saying "I really like that.. can we do that?" really makes it easy to communicate what you want. We have a few pictures from some of our projects that you can take a look at. |
Where to start? What do I need to do? How do we more forward? If you are reading this then you've probably had at least one of those questions run through your mind. Hopefully we can answer a few of those questions.
You may want to spend a few minutes checking out our 'Where to Begin' section that covers some of the questions you have. We also have a lot of tips and information available in our buyers guide that you can download. |
At this point we can move on to putting a quote together for your project. This will probably eventually include a site visit and getting into the details of your project. It may include working with landscapers, electricians and other trades. This is something we can help with.
Once the details are nailed down and some paperwork is filled out it's time to start the build. This will take a few weeks and be a major disruption in your yard, but in the end, you'll have your backyard oasis to enjoy! There are a lot of details here and we have a lot of information in our guide and blog. For a lot folks this would be the end of the process but for us not quite. We expect you'll have more questions on how things work and how to maintain stuff after the swimming pool is all done. Campbell Pools will be there to help you. We are always available to answer all your questions and we make it a point to support you and the products for years to come. |
